I was drawn to New Orleans over 30 years ago and now consider myself a native. This romantic city on the Mississippi called to me.

Inspiration for my paintings comes from everything I see here; New Orleans Cemeteries, Historical French Quarter Architecture, Louisiana Swamps and Bayous, and of course Mardi Gras.

My style is dictated by mood. As with personality of an individual, each subject carries a feeling of its own as to how it should be delivered or painted.

Nude studies compels impressionism whereas street musicians and French quarter scenes often go to a more abstact-whimiscal style, and finally my landscapes and romantic subject matter usually moves me to paint in a more realistic way.

Please visit my gallery and come back often as I continue to paint and feature new pieces.
